About Joan Lopez
I am a single Mom and have been for the last 13 years. I have raised a "wonderful" son, Shawn, a graduate of UNC -Wilmington. I also have 2 rescue dogs, Romeo and Juliet. In my free time I enjoy reading, the beach and live entertainment of any kind. Wilmington offers so many venues of entertainment, Riverfront concerts, plays at Thailian Hall, and UNC-W concert series as well as visiting entertainers. For a small town,Wilmington offers more entertainment then one can attend. I can be seen most Saturday mornings at the Riverfront Market, where local farmers bring and sell their produce.
I have also become a Real Estate Instructor for Brunswick County Community College. I enjoy passing my knowledge of this business on to new agents with my hopes of helping one other single Mom raise and support her family.
